Overview

Piedmont Green Power will create energy by utilizing waste materials that are found in such places as logging areas and land clearings --- materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or left to rot. As a result, we will produce electricity without adding carbon dioxide to the environment.

Piedmont Green Power is a project of Rollcast Energy Inc., a company that acquires, develops and operates renewable energy and other independent power assets. The Rollcast team has experience in all aspects of independent energy development and acquisition and has a particular focus on biomass-fired renewable energy projects. Rollcast’s mission is to provide customers with low cost, environmentally benign electricity that reduces our dependence on imported energy and provides sustainable jobs in local communities.
